JibKey is a marketplace platform, not a brokerage. This notice explains what information we collect when you use jibkey.com and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide when you sign up — name, email address, and optional phone number.
- Listing information sellers publish — property address, photos, price, and description. Published listings are public by design.
- Activity on the platform — saved homes, saved searches, offers you place, viewings you request, and messages you send through JibKey.
- Payment records are processed by Stripe; JibKey does not store your full card details.
2. How we use it
- To operate the marketplace: showing listings, delivering offers to sellers, sending the notifications you opt into (price changes, outbid alerts, offer updates).
- To keep the platform safe: verifying accounts, preventing fraud, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Offer privacy
- When you place a competitive offer, your maximum amount is never shown to the seller or other buyers — only the current visible offer price is public. Your identity is shown to other buyers only in anonymized form.
4. Sharing
- Sellers see the information needed to evaluate and respond to your offers and viewing requests.
- Service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, database, payments, email) process data on our behalf under contract.
- We disclose information if required by law.
5. Your choices
- You can update or delete saved searches and notification preferences from your account at any time.
- To access or delete your account data, email info@jibkey.com and we will respond within 30 days.
